We are an estate and lettings agency with offices in Langley, Reading and Wokingham.

We provide services in buying, selling, renting or acquiring land and we work with partners who can assist with conveyancing, providing mortgages and numerous other issues relating to land and property, if requested.

How do we collect information from you?

We obtain information about you when you register via our website, use an online property portal such as Rightmove and Zoopla, or contact us at one of our offices

What type of information is collected from you?

The personal information we collect can include your name, address, contact details including your email address and phone number and information to confirm your identity.

If you are a tenant we also collect information to meet our legal obligation to confirm your right to live in the UK, and also details of your employment and earnings.

Our legal basis for collecting and processing this data is based on:

  • Performance of a contract: where you enter into a contract with Flatmans and we need to process your information as part of this contract.
  • Legitimate interests: We may also be legally required to hold some types of information to fulfil our statutory obligations (for example relating to money laundering financial services, proof of residence or confirming you have the legal right to reside in the UK).
  • Consent: where we process information under consent we will seek your clear and unambiguous consent prior to processing your data.

How is your information used?

  • Additionally, we may share information about you, if required legally, to prevent harm or financial / reputation loss, for investigation of suspected or actual fraudulent or illegal activities.
  • Prospective employers requesting references via your written consent
